Which waterpark?

Hello all. The wife and I are leaving our Daytona vacation for one night, August 5th, to go to WDW for our 10th anniversary. The plan is to stay the night at PORS and go to a waterpark during the day then Cali Grill for dinner and fireworks viewing. So, which waterpark do you reccommend for a couple? I've been to both, but that's been well over 10 years ago. Also, how much is parking at the water parks? Would you reccommend parking at PORS and bussing over or park at waterpark then go to PORS? Thanks

Both are great but I, personally, found Typhoon Lagoon to be much more engaging for a couple. You can snorkel together at the Shark Reef, plunge down a double tube on Crush N' Gusher, and race each other on some of the other slides.
To me, Blizzard Beach was much more slide oriented (and a lot of stair climbing!)
Have fun!

Parking is free at the water parks.

Which water park depends on what kind of couple you are.

Are you the kind to go ziplining together? Then it's Blizzard Beach.

Are you the kind that relaxes poolside? Then it's Typhoon Lagoon.

Except for traveling to the Magic Kingdom, driving is faster. Drive to the water park. It's much faster than the bus.

One more thing. POR is closer to Typhoon Lagoon.

If I were you, I would drive to Typhoon Lagoon and enjoy the day there. Then drive to POR to check-in and change. Then drive to the Contemporary.

Thanks for the replies. I can't believe parking is free. Good call on the parking, I forgot the waterpark busses share with one of the theme parks. We'll probably bus to CR because we usually boat to DTD to get an ornament and walk around. Our dining reservations aren't until 9 so we should have time. Thanks again
