Hey there hi there ho there...
My GF and I have WDW PAPs. We're staying at Port Orleans Riverside from Good Friday til April Fools Day. We're also going back to WDW late August. I'd like to also go to US & IOA, preferably checking out at least one park during the first trip, and spending a few days at both in August. But I'm trying to decide which ticket option is the best way to go. Any input would be appreciated. Here are the options as I see 'em:
1: Annual passes. We're not going to be going during blackout periods, so I thought get one limited AP, and one unlimited AP, so we can still take advantage of free parking and discounts on foods. At least go to IOA, probably the day after Easter, then spend 3 or 4 days in August. This also gives us the possibility of going back during Xmas break (though it's slim, and we're not going to renew our WDW passes). Plus, the unlimted pass has a payment option of only charging your credit card 16 bucks a month for a year. I figure, between the 2 passes, if we visit a total of 4 days in a year, they're worth it.
2: Buy 2, get 3 days free. A promotional offer online. $100 gets you 5 days in both parks, BUT they are consecutive days, so we couldn't use them til August...
3: The park hopper passes they offer that also include Wet 'n Wild, Sea World and maybe Tampa's Busch Gardens. They run $180-$250 (approximately), and expire within 14 days of first use, meaning we wouldn't use 'em until August.
4: Free tickets with hotel stay. If we check in to the Royal Pacific on 8/25 at the latest, and stay for 4 nights (200 a night) passes are included. But again, that means we don't go until August, and perhaps spending a little more on a room than we would with our AP discounts at WDW.
What do you all think? Or is there an even better option?
