Which should I pick?

My fiancee and I are wanting to try at least one unique cuisine that we've never eaten before at World Showcase while on our Disneymoon.

I am trying to decide between Restaruant Marrakesh or Biergarten. We've never had Moroccan or German food before. Any opinions on both would be very helpful.

We've been to Marrakesh once and Biergarten three times. Biergarten is a buffet with a lot of choices which works better for our family.

I prefer Biergarten but if you're looking for exotic you might go with Marrakesh. You can find a lot of reviews on line especially on allearsnet .

I have tried both multiple times. I prefer the entertainment and food at Biergarten, but I have access to LOTS of Moroccan food near my home, so German seems more exotic to me. Both have great food and great themes.

Though I love both of your choices my vote goes to Restaurant Marrakesh since it will just be the two of you. Dining at a buffet where you will be seated with at least another 4 to 6 people at a table doesn't sound very romantic to me.

Biergarten is our choice...love the food and the 'party' every 'night'.

Restaurant Marrakesh! Wonderful food and the service each time we go whether or the quick service is in my opinion some of the best on property.

While both are wonderful, Biergarten would be my choice as well.

The buffet offers more variety and options, and the show is a must see.

At Marrakesh, I'd recommend doing one of the "taste of" menu options for the most variety, but the issue there is, if you order something and find you don't like it (spice, taste, etc.), you are sortof stuck with it. Whereas at Germany, you can just go back to the buffet and try something different.

Both are good but different styles that some ppl don't like u can be tooling the dice with both if u never had either food.

I love any kind of exotic/ethnic food and I've eaten both German and Moroccan cuisine. I would say if you are adventurous then go with Marrakesh! The flavors are unusual to the typical American palate but delicious. If you like Indian food you would probably like it. Some of the flavors you will encounter are citrus, cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, and if you like lamb or beef there are some good dishes on the menu.

I've only eaten at Biergarten....and it is a very good buffet and the venue is fun too. However it really isn't that ethnic compared to the roulade that I make or the schnitzel or sauterbrauten I've have at a very good and authentic german restaurant here in Houston...so if you want authentic...I am going to say try the Morroccan place. Or Sanaa...but that is not at WS. But great Indian cuisine at Sanaa.

I think I've decided on Marrakesh. It's something that will be completely different for us, has the belly dancers, seems like it would be more romantic than Biergarten, and I'm a huge Aladdin fan so I love that it's themed to a Sultan's Palace. Biergarten seems like it would have great food and I like the village theme but I don't really think it would be romantic having to sit at a table with complete strangers, like NiarrNDisney said. Marrakesh has a more romantic atmosphere, and a belly dancer for nighttime dinners.

I think you picked well, especially with it being just the 2 of you We are eating there for Father's Day this June since Middle Eastern food is my husbands favorite.

Been to Marrakesh once and thought it was absolutely disgusting. Love Biergarten, it's terrific.
