It's too bad you're not the roller coaster type because your family would fit nicely in space mountain lol
Five isn't that bad, though. Just split up into two and three.I went to Universal with some friends (five of us total). Having an odd number kind of blows when dealing with rides. Most of the time someone will have to be left on their own with a stranger. Just alternate throughout the day the one who goes solo to make it fair.

Thunder Mountain can fit three! We usually put three average sized people in one!
My boys sit in front of me on BTMRR and I sit behind them in a seat by myself. Never a problem. So can 1 adult and 2 kids fit on one row on Big Thunder Mountain, both my girls want to ride it this year, but my hubby can't ride because of his back.
My girls are only 6 and a tiny 6too, so I don't know how comfortable I am in separate seat..I know I am paranoid, but I can't helpit. My boys sit in front of me on BTMRR and I sit behind them in a seat by myself. Never a problem.
Yes they usually allow people to sit three to a row, in fact when it's busy they encourage itMy girls are only 6 and a tiny 6too, so I don't know how comfortable I am in separate seat..I know I am paranoid, but I can't helpit.
I agree...I would take turns being the single rider, that way u get to go on all the rides!
The Haunted Mansion can fit four of you believe in yourself
That's weird a cast member let us all in one were all girls but adultsThey never let us sit 4 at HM (2 adults, 1 five y/o, 1 infant)...we ask everytime and they always make us split 2/2
