We've stayed at all the moderates except Coronado Springs as well as the ALK. We've never had a bad expierence at any Disney properties, so to us it's picking what you personally like the best - but you really can't go wrong staying on property!!
We LOVED the POR. The setting and quietness of the Alligator section was just so serene! Food court was good, piano player Bob was a riot. Boats to DTD were really cool, and you can get off at POFQ and swim at their pool and eat at thier food court if you'd like. The staff and mousekeeping were really great as well.
At POFQ it felt more like staying in a small city. Everything seemed really close together (to us that was a negative for some this is cool), but we prefered the spread out and isolated feeling of the POR.
The rooms seemed the same at all three resorts, but the trundle bed was a HUGE bonus for us. Our 9 year old DS got the trundle and our 12 year old DD got the bed. I think everyone ended up getting more sleep as a result. POR/FQ does have the two sink with the privacy curtain thing as well as fridge/coffee etc.
The CBR was good as well, but the pool and the general condition of the resort didn't seem as nice as the POR, plus no boat to DTD, no entertainment, and not as many dining choices IMHO. It did feel more tropical and open, but not as lush and rustic. It depends on what 'theme' you prefer.
I know some people love the CSR, but our family felt that if we're surrounded by conventioneers on our vacation, it would spoil the feeling of being immersed in the Disney magic. Businesspeople with name tags at every meal would be a real let down!!
Have Fun!!
