Which resort would you choose based on the price for my dates?

Hello all,

Put a fair amount of effort into this to work on choosing a hotel for an upcoming trip. For reference 2 adults, 1 toddler (~20 months old for the trip). We plan 4 nights, 1 day MK, 1 resort/disney springs day, 1 day split AK and EPCOT. If we stayed at a WDW hotel or Swolphin we wouldn't rent a car but would uber to and from the airport. Wondering people's thoughts on all of these or if there is other resorts I should look into. We usually stay at the Swolphin, but the price is very high right now.

IMHO Port Orleans Riverside is the wildcard right now, depending on the water level, there may or may not be a launch from the resort to Disney Springs. Otherwise for me it would hinge on how much time you'd want to spend in transit and what sort of transit. CBB and AoA would allow direct Skyliner to Epcot, but bus to AK and MK. All Stars and Coronado is all bus. All Stars has a high density of guests between movies, sports, and film so your line waiting will be the longest from there even with the bendy busses.

Off the top of my head, if it were me, I’d just stay at an All-Star resort. Kiddo won’t remember any of it anyway, it’ll save some major money over many of the others, and it’s on property.
Maybe upgrade to Pop Century for the Skyliner.

Since you included a few options outside of the Disney bubble, let me add one to your list.

Pestana Orlando Suites Lake Buena Vista

I stayed there last year when it was a Comfort Suites and it was quite nice for the price and close proximity to the parks. The hotel is about a year old, so everything is new and fresh. Free breakfast, free parking, shuttle service to Disney parks, and more. When I stayed, the price was around $100/night and a quick check just now looks like those prices are still close to that.

Speaking as a toddler mom, staying at a Skyliner resort is a game changer when it comes to getting to/from Epcot and Hollywood Studios. It’s so nice to be able to push the stroller straight on to the Skyliner, and not have to fold it up.

My pic will always be a resort with skyliner access, so I choose Caribbean Beach Resort. Another bonus Sebastian’s is a DELICIOUS place to have dinner. I just LOVE this resort!

If CBR isn’t available then I’d go with Pop. The reason I choose CBR over Pop is at CBR you get on the skyliner and don’t get off until you get to either Epcot or Hollywood Studios.

Unfortunately at Pop you must disembark the skyliner at the CBR hub, get in line again to your chosen park for the day and reload onto the skyliner again. Fortunately the skyliner is a continuous running form of transportation and we’ve never had problems or long delays traveling from pop; but if I can omit that extra stop, why not stay at CBR.
