which Pool. AKL or BC

Splitting our Dec vacation between Coronado Springs and either AKL or BC. My son's are 21 and 17 and love to hang out at pools. We have not stayed at either AKL or BC. All our previous trips have been at Poly. Which pool do you prefer? I've heard good things about both

BC's pool is far superior. AKL's pool is nothing to write home about--I would argue Coronado's is cooler. BC has the best pool on property.

There is more than an acre of pool. It's a sand bottom pool. There's a lazy river that you can grab a tube and go around in circles in (or if you prefer, swim in because it's 7 or 8 ft deep). The slide is also great.

AK Is a nice pool, but no where near Stormalong Bay's awesomeness.

I agree- definitely BC! I think it's the best pool on property. You can't beat the sand bottom and lazy river.

Totally off topic but....it made my heart happy to see your sons are still vacationing with you at Disney at 17 and 21 and in true-parental form, you trying to find what they would like best for the trip. We never stop, do we?!?! Mine are only beginning the teen years and still love Disney. I hope our family tradition continues as well! Enjoy your trip!

The pool at AKL is lame for their age. It's shallow (no deep end) and has a very tame water slide. As a result, lots of young kids hang out here.

Over at Beach, they have a serious deep end (12ft) and a wildly fun, fast, water slide. Not to mention other really neat aspects. Furthermore, Yacht and Beach are more adult oriented, so there will be more young adults and teens.

Bc pool is the best in all disney hands down. Of u plan on doing the pool, it's def worth the extra money.
