Which park to choose in april

Hi 👋 I'm new to the forum and have a question about my trip to Disney World this april:
My fiancée and I will join „Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park“ on the 20th april and want to go to a park the rest of the day until 7pm but we‘re not sure which park to choose.
First we wanted to go to the Disney’s Hollywood Studios but as far as I can see on the internet, the crowds are way to big.
Which park would you choose? Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Epcot or even Magic Kingdom for the whole day?
We'll rent a car and do not stay on property.

With the whole Star Wars thing at Hollywood Studios you can expect larger crowds. I also don't know if April 20th could fall during Spring Break time so that could add to even larger crowds. If you and your fiancee are big on Star Wars I would still consider Hollywood Studios as you both will really enjoy it. Also the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival will be going on during that time which will increase the crowds there and that is really nice as well. Pandora at the Animal Kingdom is also beautiful and the ride Flight of Passage is fantastic. The Animal Kingdom is also probably the farthest from the Magic Kingdom. So to be honest, I think you have a lot to think about. I think you should go with your first choice though in Hollywood Studios.

I'd think EP would be my choice. With F&G going on its beautifly decorated with topiaries and flowers. Theres the additional food booths and kiosks where you can sample a variety of food & snacks. Lots of event specific F&G merchandise. Theres much to see and shop for wandering through the pavilions. Yes there will be crowds everywhere from spring break but EP is a large area so it wont feel like youre bothered by crushing crowds as in the other parks.

Allot of people do travel in April. Epcot might not be as busy. yes there is the Flower and Garden festival but Epcot is under construction. Disney is building new rides, areas, restaurants. I can see Spaceship earth having a wait time because it is due to close on May 26 until late 2022 or early 2023. Not much is going on at Animal Kingdom. Pandora is usually busy. Hollywood Studios busy due to Stars Wars and Toy Story land. Mickey and Minnie's runaway railway is open. Magic Kingdom doesn't have anything opening until another time. If you are renting a car, reserve a car sooner than later. Car rentals go up in price for April. You will have to pay for parking at the parks. I believe it's $25 a day unless it changed recently. Hollywood Studios should have a show at the end of the night. I'm not sure if it's a light show or fireworks, or both. I believe all of the parks should have something at night. It will be busy but to be honest Spring time isn't bad compared to Christmas time. Have your snacks with you and go enjoy yourself.

My choice would be AK. Epcot is a mess due to construction. Hordes of crowds at HS especially in the morning to get a boarding group for ROTR. AK, while still busy, is "more settled" at this point. Also, plenty to do: attractions, animal walking trails, shows, etc. It's always been my second favorite park compared to MK. I also find it relaxing. It's nice sitting at Dawa bar, ordering a drink, and listening to the African music, for example.

Thank you all so much for your help!

I think I'll choose between HS and AK with MK by night.
My concerns about Epcot are the construktions as @JohnD mentioned

@Eamethyst thanks for the advice about the car rental! And you're right, the parking fee is 25$/day (for all 4 parks)
@ELG13 my fiancée is not a water park fan and we have (unfortunately!) only one day

Whichever park you choose make sure you ask for a receipt when you pay to park, and don't lose it! If you drive over to park at MK after the other park you can show them the receipt and not need to pay again
