The Morning Rope Drop Parade and you get to take part! Walk up Main Street and at rope drop parade yourself to your favorite land/attraction.

The parade has been replaced by the 'Walking Space Expansion', WDW's new 2017 offering.

You are not going to miss the parade anyway, because the MK will be closed at night for an upcharge event during your stay.
Your first sentence was very good and quite funny, but, the OP asked a serious question and the second sentence that was also meant as a joke, came across as factual. It isn't so OP, please ignore the second one. It doesn't mean that it won't be closed because of a special event, one or two nights, but, it realistically will not be during your entire stay.

Seriously, all this "inside" humor is wonderful for those of us that are part of long, ongoing, discussions, however, it really isn't funny to the person that came here asking for information. So far the only understandable advice has been that there currently is no replacement for the parade.

As of now there is no parade.

Thanks @The Empress Lilly and @Goofyernmost but, wich is the correct answer?!?!?! Sorry but The answer has not been clear to me.
I believe that between @marni1971 and myself, we did indeed give you the correct answer. You asked only about the parade and he answered directly with no extra junk that I am inclined to add. Things like correcting false information, posted in fun, but, something that you might have no way of knowing was a joke. If you want information on this board there is no one you can find that has more accurate, succinct information then Martin does.

I don't always agree with his opinions of the facts, but, I always take the facts to be correct and from a very good source. If you want full detail of all things Disney check out Martins Tribute Video's on You Tube.

Since WDW already has at least two (2) evening parade soundtracks in inventory, maybe for "free" it could simply run the soundtracks at night and those who remember the parades can recall what has been lost.

Another thought, but entirely financially unrealistic, is that perhaps a "hologram" parade could be run without the need of any castmembers and no real need to "clear" the parade route and no need to rope-off the path. The "holograms" could exist on top of the park guests. Don't we already have a "Chernabog" volunteer?

It's becoming pretty evident that in spite of rising prices, Disney thinks parades are too expensive to operate.
If you think about it parades are very expensive and getting more expensive over time. Minimum wage has increased over $2/hour over the past 10 years. All those people on the floats aren't cheap and when you have a parade you can't just have them come in for 30 minutes of work.... I can see how the cost of a parade has gone up quite a bit over time.... Then when you look at a night time parades they probably tend to have more lights which means more maintenance costs. Not that I'm anti-parade... but I kind of think they stopped being special when they started having so darned many of them.... one parade a day be it day or night makes the parade more special, but having 3 or 4 per day was overkill and that's kind of what it seemed like at times in the past.
