Which MK land needs major refurbishment next?

Since the long-needed and impressive renovation of Tomorrowland went off well several years ago, it makes me wonder if a refurbishment of any other lands might be in order. Personally, I think Fantasyland definitely needs some work. Which lands, if any, do you think need to be re-done?

well, I like Frontierland, but to me it has lost its "old west" feel. I would say that adding dirt in the streets would help, but I doubt that would go over well.

Tommorowland! I know it just had a rehab, but I think it needs another. Basicly, all they did to the look was cover the White with Metalic sheets. Come on disney, the future is digital, neon 9but NOT cheesy)! IMO.

I'd like to see them re-do Main Street by bringing in some of the design elements from DL Paris (i.e. Walt's restaurant). They also have it set up in Paris so that you can walk behind the buildings on either side in order to avoid the parade congestion. It seems they could do that in MK (at least on the left side of Main Street anyway).

I think they need to update Fantasyland. Ditch the faux tents for classic structures like at DL.

And add Alice to the old Skyway area.

I think Liberty Square needs some serious help. It has only 2 attractions that run all day and could use something new. It is the only land to not have a major refurbishment or addition recently with the exception of adding new Presidents.

Hmm. Let me try to think like the powers that be . . . Easy! Which land has the fewest gift shops! Let's refurb that one, next!

Adventureland is definitely the least magical land right now. When you consider that both of its major attractions are so badly dated that they only hold value as nostalgia pieces, it really makes a case for itself. The last attraction added, the carpet thing, is nothing more than a desperation move to build SOMETHING new that they could put in Disney magazines and brochures, and honestly, how many county-fair Dumbo rides do we need?

What Adventureland needs is Indy, it needs it MUCH worse than MGM, because that entire section of the park is unused compared to Tommorowland and Fronteirland, and would help to balance traffic in the MK. Here's to wishing for a Crystal Skull version.

Aw man, leave Tomorrowland alone! Have you no nostalgia at all in your heart? :)

I agree with Adventureland. The Magic Carpets of Aladdin are just not enough to bring more crowds to the area. The DL Paris Indy ride would have the muscle to draw crowds the same way that Splash Mountain and Space Mountain do.

Cymbaldiva, I'm with you. The current version of Tomorrowland is darn near perfect. Walking through the sidewalks at night is one of my favorite things to do at Disney, period. I don't really see how going "digital" would improve the look any, as its aesthetics are already a splendid blend of Jules Verne, Blade Runner, Sonic the Hedgehog, and NASA.

To clarify, what Adventureland needs is not the lame Indy coaster that Paris got stuck with, but a real A-list darkride, something just like THIS

Tomorrowland looks awesome, but it does need some more work. CoP needs to either be referbed (YAY!) or replaced w/ something new (BOO, but better than an empty building), Timekeeper needs to stay open, and just some more stuff to fill up the empty parts.

As for a total referbishment... I'll buy the argument for either Liberty Square (my personal choice as a history fan who couldn't convince his friends to do the HoP :( ) or adventureland since it does lack any WOW attractions.

Well, if I was CEO of Disney, I would seriously put a lot of plans into effect. (Paul and Eisner don't think rehabbing a land will bring in guests at this point...unless its at California Adventure:animwink: ) Sorry, I couldn't resist! Fliks Fun Fair anyone?

The one that needs it the most is Toontown. I would seriously look at rerouting the train so it rises onto a bridge. That would allow people to cross into a new extension of Toontown which would add ToonTown hall, and Roger Rabbits Cartoon Spin.

And I would seriously rehab the Autopia like the new one at Disneyland.

I would go on and on about bringing back 20,000 Leagues or building Marc Davis's Western River Expedition in Frontierland, but I'll save that for a "What new attractions would you add?"

Oh, and the Mark Twain needs some more scenery on the
shoreline. Ditto that for TTA, especially for some of those long dark tunnels. I'd also give a view of the inside of alien encounter.
