Robin Hood and the rest of the gang. I remember fondly the days of Robin, Tuck, John and Marian wandering the world in my early trips.
2023 marks the 50th anniversary of Robin Hood, so it's a perfect opportunity to bring Robin and the gang back.

I know Robin Hood was low point from an animation perspective, but the movie has a lot of charm and is generally remembered fondly by everybody. I really think the Disney parks should give Robin Hood more love. He and Maid Marian are never seen anywhere!

I'd like to see most of these. Also, I'd still love to see Orange Bird. Can they remove Magic Carpets and place him in the middle of Adventureland instead? That would be one instance where i wouldn't mind a character replacing an attraction.

I saw a majority the characters mentioned here at DLR over the past year.

  • Cheshire Cat
  • Merlin
  • Marie, Berlioz, and Toulouse
  • Bernard and Miss Bianca
  • Hercules and Megara

Robin Hood characters (Prince John & Sheriff of Nottingham)
Panchito, Jose

(videos of many of them on my channel - www.youtube.com/mousertainment and pics on my blog www.mousertainment.com )

We have been blessed with characters in Anaheim and I'm so grateful for it!

This is another area RunDisney excels at, I‘ve met more rare characters at the several dozen RunDisney races I’ve done than my hundreds of trips to DL, WDW, and DLP combined.

At marathon weekend alone last month we met Darkwing Duck, Monterey Jack, Fat Cat, Launchpad, Chip and Dale in their rescue rangers costumes, Max, Goofy in his Goof troop outfit, and max as power line… and those were just the rare ones at the 5k and 10k, we didn’t even do the half or full where most of the characters end up.

it’s all fun and games until some TikTok-addled Gen Z’er decides that Skippy offends them with his talk of political violence.

I would like to see Princess Eilonwy... but in a kind of weird, awkward way, where she insists that she is a Disney Princess and belongs in the sorority, but the official Disney Princesses ignore her.

Also, Pete. Not the villainous Pete from the theatrical shorts or the Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse, but the loveable scamp Pete from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

Princess Eilowny I agree on, other than the “awkward way” of doing it. Disney ought to just be more welcoming/accommodating towards her & simply accept her as the official princess she is. And in regards to Pete.. go with the ‘True’ Pete. The villainous/obtuse/abusive father Pete is to his son P.J. . He was villainous even in Mickey Mouse Works/House of Mouse of the early late 90s & early 2000s, even Goofy Movie & Three Muskeeters. Pete was never supposed to be a “loveable” friend to Mickey & Friends, He was always the character that provided the needed conflict that Mickey & Friends always dealt with in a humorous, fun manner. Same can be said for Goofy & Max vs Pete. But then again, I have that opinion regarding how they’ve written all the characters in Clubhouse . They’re all shells of their former selves with little to no rounded personality or humor. Even Donald hardly gets in a temper like he should anymore. Their intent was never supposed to be Barney & Friends. They’re supposed to be appealing to ‘all’ ages, not pandered to preschoolers.
