My family is going to Disney World Feb 15th to the 21st and we are really trying to save as much money as we can. That being said,we want to go to Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom(on seperate days)so,would getting individual tickets be cheaper or would like a two day park hopper pass be better? HELP!!

hm

maybe im missing something ,but why just not buy a 2 day base ticket without the park hopper. You said you were going on seperate days so there is no need for a park hopper.

An adult 1 day pass is $75.00 and the kids is $63.00
An adult 2 day pass is $149.00 and the kids is $125.00.
Not really much price difference in the per day cost if you decide to do 2 1 day tickets vs a 2 day pass.

An adult 1 day parkhopper is $125.00 and the kids is $113.00
An adult 2 day parkhopper is $199.00 and the kids is $176.00
These are the parkhopper tickets but that's only if you want to hop around any of the 4 parks for the two days. If you're just doing those 2 parks on seperate days there's no reason for the park hopper and would be an unneccessary upgrade.

Well that's what I'm confused about,I don't know the difference between all of them. Explain? Haha.

The plain base ticket allows you entrance into only one park per day. You can use the regular tickets at any of the four parks, but can only go into one park a day.

The park hopper allows you to go in and out of any of the 4 parks (epcot, hollywood studios, magic kingdom and animal kingdom) as many times in one day as you want. So if you wanted to go to animal kingdom for extra magic morning hours, into epcot in the afternoon and then go to Magic Kingdom at night for fireworks and extra magic night hours, you could do all of the above.

Aren't you visiting any other parks or just sticking at 2 over the 7 days ???

Are you really only going for 2 days? If you plan to visit just those two parks an separate days for 7 days you should just get a BASE 7 day ticket

242.82 adult
205.55 child

If you want to park hop, meaning leaving one park early in the day and go to another park. So if you want to go from the Animal Kingdom which closes early and spend the rest of your day at Epcot, you need the parkhopper option. It costs an extra $50 for the entire trip, not per day.

Basically the longer you are staying the cheaper you tickets cost per day. Especially when you get past 3 days. 4 day tickets are only about $5 more. 5 day tickets another $4. So, only going for three days or less to the parks is not a real BARGAIN.

Hope this helps!

Are you sure there's nothing you like about AK and Epcot? I know you said you've been 20 times, but have you been since EE opened?

Anyway...back on topic. A to day ticket is VERY expensive. Are you going to be in WDW or just Orlando for 7 days? You mich be better off to buy like a 7 day with no expiration. You might get more bang for your buck.

We are staying in fort wilderness and we have been to Animal Kingdom. We only go to two parks because we really enjoy just going swimming or going horse back riding and we always go to DD one day. We just want to go to MGM monday, and MK on Wednesday. We already have dinner reservations for The Brown Derby and The Crystal Palace on those days.
