I've only stayed at one of the Mods, POR. It was right after the rooms were redone. Spring 2012. We booked a Royal Room and the entire building was sparkling clean and new. The grounds are very lovely. I would highlyrecommend.

1. Coronado Springs - the rooms are just nicer
2. Port Orleans Riverside
3. French Quarter - no table service restaurant

Would never stay at Caribean Beach for many reasons. I would choose any of the values over that place. It has never appealed to me in any way.
IMHO: CBR
Everyone has a different opinion, but that's my vote!

We really enjoy POR and PO FQ. Especially if you get a room close to the front, still very convenient. I also really like the theme there better than that of CS and CB.

Port Orleans Riverside is easily my favorite. I love the theme of the resort, the pool is easily one of my favorites on Disney property, and the rooms are quite nice.

I've been to them all, I would stay at them all over and over.

With regards to Coronado price premiums, I never see that. Just booked Coronado for 4th of July since after sorting them by price, they came out lowest. Money talks sometimes, and then you click on a deluxe cause you want too :p

Honestly I can't pick a favorite mod, they all have unique themes, so it's a matter of what theme you want and when.

When our daughter was younger we stayed at the All Star Movies resort. It was great to be immersed in the Disney theme for the entire trip. Now that she is older she appreciates things like a quick walk back to the room from the bus and less crowding in the food and pool areas. We are about to stay at Port Orleans French Quarter for the second time for that reason.

Wherever you choose will be magical!

Can i have yr opinions please on which mod hotel would be yr choice. We are two ladies and one 11yr old girl.....thankyou
Of the moderate hotels, in my opinion the Port Orleans Resort is the best. Between Riverside and French Quarter the rooms are quite similar though the theming varies [choose which one you like more], the food courts are mediocre to good, and the service is great.

I have been to all Moderate resorts, and stayed at 3 of them. I haven't stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter, but I visited the rooms when part of my family was staying there.

My ranking of the resorts:

#4. Caribbean Beach Resort - My room was right next to the bus stop, so it was NOISY all the time, and the resort was just kind of blah to me. Pirate Room was okay, but the carpet in my room was wet. It was probably just a bad experience for us, however we won't be staying there again.
#3. Port Orleans Riverside - Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful resort. It's just huge. I did a lot of walking to and from the bus stop. I liked the double sinks in the room though. Really saved time in the morning! Oh and the boat ride to Disney Springs was really serene. Overall, not a bad resort!
#2. Port Orleans French Quarter - Really beautiful place, with excellent theming! Food Court was amazing. Rooms were really nice from what I saw. I would totally stay there.
#1. Coronado Springs - My "home" resort. When I walk into CS I immediately know I'm at Disney World. Pool is one of the best at any WDW resort. The rooms are so much better than the other Moderate resorts, in my opinion. For one, they have an actual door dividing the bathroom and bedroom. They also have a nice desk, and chair, and instead of the pull down bed like at POR and CBR, there's a dresser (which is nice if you like to unpack). I guess I'm kind of biased, but CS is still a personal favorite of mine.
