Which dvd format do you prefer?

Topic. With a narrator or with someone you can see (2005 with Erin)?

I think I prefer the Erin format better. It seems more real.

To tell you the truth, if they experimented with that format again, I wish they'd give Stacy a shot.

The thing about T7MS@WDW and The 2005 HCOE Dvd...Were produced by the same production company...Which is why there is such a similarity to both of them...And I find them Equally good......*Ahem* *Points to my Avatar*;)

Plus this was the only Vacation dvd that ever had an Easter egg to a Blooper reel hidden on this disc..

The Erin dvd is by far the best one they ever did.

Dave is a member of an improve troop here in the Dallas area. I was working at a convention a few years ago, and his troop was also working there. I had a chance to talk with him a bit about that project. He said it was a totally great experience, Erin was a sweetheart, and that Luke was just exactly the young punk you thought he would be!

Erin shows up every once in a while on TV, in a crime drama or medical show. I'm just so proud of her, even though I had nothing to do with her success!

Like I said earlier, I heard Erin on a podcast a few months ago, and she said she gets recognized a lot for the Disney dvd. Definitely more than anything else she ever did. And she's surprised cause it was well over 10 years ago, she's gotten older, her hair has changed, etc

I prefer the over the top cheese of a live host rather than a narration... it reminds me of "Must do Disney" with Stacey which is like one of my favorite things in the world!

Would you care to share how to access that particular Easter Egg? Please. :)

This Works Better using it with a PC DVD Player...
  • When the Menu screen comes up go to Scene Selection Button
  • Go Pass the Theme Parks section and hit the "MORE" Button
  • The Last Screen will show Downtown Disney and two more selections..Between The "BACK" & "MENU" Button move you mouse around the blank area above those two buttons..And a Green Mickey Head will pop up.....This is where you will find the Blooper Reel....Happy Hunting!

We stopped ordering/watching the planning DVDs a few years ago when they went completely generic. The last one I saw was with a lady who was just sitting in and walking around a plain white apartment or condo, talking in a monotone voice. It was like a horrible documentary, and didn't make me want to go at all (if I were being introduced to Disney for the first time).

Stacy does a great job on the resort TV, and Erin Cahill and the gang were the last great crew on the planning DVD.
