Hi all

My DW and i are taking some time out from the world after 10 fantastic trips and not returning till 2013 ( when the majority of the FLE has been completed)
Since it is such a gap we are looking to go Duluxe and would like some advice on which way to go.The only 2 which are a definate no are the Grand Foridian and the Contempery.
Looking forward to hearing everyones opinions and experiences ( good or bad )

Yacht Club or BoardWalk. Have always had great times at each.

Wildernes has small rooms and lack a daybed, but it IS a really nice place to stay.

Poly wasn't nearly as good as an Epcot Deluxe Resort. Upkeep was below average.

AKL is far too removed and doesn't have a lake...we prefer water views over chained in reserves.

Beach Club doesn't have large balconies.

Such a picky list, but for us the Yacht Club and BoardWalk are the way to go. And Wilderness Lodge was nice, we liked our stay there.

I totally disagree. We left the YC after 4 nights and went to the Poly. Poly is older but beautiful.

I thought we'd love the Epcot Resort area, but honestly, the bus service was so poor, we won't stay there again.

Yes, I agree that the bus service is annoying/slow, but that isn't enough to keep us away. Most times its Yacht/Beach on one line and BW/S/D on another, but the afternoons when they are combined is TERRIBLE!

Yep, the Poly is very pretty too.

I love both AKL and WL....those would be my picks. I wouldn't split my trip up. I'd pick one, embrace it and find everything you love about it. I love the darkness and calmness of AKL...it seems more "user friendly" in it's layout. I also love WL but I'd be leaning toward AKL. I have had incredible CM/guest interactions at both resorts.

Haven't had the luxury of staying in a Deluxe yet, but will be in 25 days. We will be at the AKL and will report back. And yes i'm a little excited :sohappy:
