Which crowd calendar do you use?

I've been looking at crowd calendars for this December (just to gauge our Dec 2014 trip) and I've noticed there's a lot of discrepancy. For example, I've attached screenshots of TouringPlans.com vs UndercoverTourist.com and there are some pretty big differences! On TouringPlans, MK is the best park to be at on December 15th! Meanwhile, UndercoverTourist says it's the worst! I've always found TouringPlans.com to be pretty accurate, but which do you use?

I'll be interested to see what people say. Maybe UnderCover won't make MK a best park when the Christmas party is going on, because it closes early?

Last trip is referenced the crowd calendars on TouringPlans. I did not find that they were very accurate. I think that they way over estimate how busy the park with EMH's will be.

That's what I was told last year when I was there in December. It makes sense since people without park hopper tickets wouldn't want to waste a full day's ticket on a half-day park.

I don't have anything to compare it to...but I use Touring Plans and will continue to do so.

I have always used TouringPlans.com to decide which park to go to on which day. It has worked well for me. I would recommend them. But like @MadMax11 I have never used anything else, and have nothing to compare it to.

Honestly, I just go where I feel like going, for the most part.

But if I had to use a crowd calendar, I'd stick with the UG/touringplans.com

I grab a look at all of them and compare too. But I've always relied more on Touring Plans stats because I've found their site has been more accurate on the trips I've taken and I've gone at different times of the year. But we always get the park hopper tickets so if we show up and the parks are slammed worse than we expected, we can easily move over to another park and then return later in the day if we wish.

easy wdw, but because it's more accurate. The last time I used Touring Plans was 2011...they said that all of our days were level 8-9 crowds. I don't think any of the days could be classified as anything more than a 4. When I doubled back and compared their projections for our 2010 trip, I also found them to be off. Sooooooo, I stopped using Touring Plans.

This is what I used when planning our ADR's. Did it seem pretty accurate your last trip, I know you just recently got back and heard it was pretty busy.

IMO, this whole estimates of crowds thing is just not that important. If you're not using EMHs, you should avoid the EMH park(s). Otherwise, don't worry too much.

Your plan is way more important than these crowd calendar estimates.
