Which Club Cool Do You Prefer and Why?

After seeing the new Club Cool at Epcot, I missed the old one. The new one is more tucked away, which is no big deal but I really don't like the layout. The old one the machines were spread out and on those pillars. Now they are all against one single wall, and it seems to lend itself more to people just hogging them. As there is less room to just step to the side. Anyway, maybe I am just missing something and others feel different, but figured why not do a poll.

This is why I like the World of Coke at Disney Springs instead..it's spread out and I don't have to pay $ 110 to drink soda...

As far as the layout goes, I much prefer the old Club Cool. Aesthetically though, I kind of like the new one. My vote still went for old though.

I prefer the Old Club Cool when they had the snow cave you had to go through to get to the front door.

Also the circular columns made it easier for multiple parties to get drinks.

But the new one does look better.

I remember the snow cave. The cast member had to wear a winter jacket because of the very cold climate inside.

Old Club Cool. We looked forward to going through the Ice Station entrance with the cold surroundings and the themed frozen cave man. It made the spot special. The new Coke spot is just another store with merch now.

The new Club Cool is a few tshirt racks and drink dispensers shoved into a soulless rectanglular room.

It has the personality of Bob Iger and Bob Chapek visiting a suburban IKEA together.

I know a group of fifth graders that could design a better Club Cool at their recess.

Ice station cool for me! I have vague memories of the drink portion but that snow tunnel was amazing to my 10 year old brain

The original Ice Station Cool was a lot of fun and very thematic. There was plenty of things to look at on the way in, the opportunity to cool down on a hot and humid Florida day, and the theming continued inside the store where there were weather radars of the Orlando area IIRC.

I love polls. Can we include an option for the beverage tasting that includes a jigger of vodka, or rum, or gin? A “Gin and Beverly” gets my vote. Gotta be a dry gin though.

Looking at that video I guess there have been 3 incarnations of it? Looks like it wasn't just the ice station that changed when they got rid of it, the dispensers look different too. I'm pretty sure anyone would rather the ice cave version! But I guess it stands my poll was correct in that the first one was not really called Club Cool. Also, can anyone fill me in, did it have drinks from other countries?

Looks like Club cool kept the same flavors as Ice Station Cool for a while. Club cool reopened in 2005 and didn’t change flavors til 2013.
