Where's your special spot?

Uk pavillion, in the courtyard, sitting against the lamppost closest to the stage on the right side, watching the band. I'd spend the rest of my life right there if i could.

*anywhere in World Showcase, esp. the wall under the tree in the UK pavilion, right outside where the Millennium Village use to be.

* The queue for Tower of Terror. A few years ago, i was waiting, and it was twilight out, and it started to drizzle a little. i dunno, i always thought it was a pretty calming situation.

*Just sitting on the Boardwalk, with music on, people watching. it's always a great time.

all in all, the whole place is pretty special.

It used to be drinks in the lounge in Japan overlooking the lagoon at dusk in the WS but now that they are refurbing the restaurant I don't know what the status of it will be..:veryconfu

My special spot is the Dumbo the Flying Elephant. It was the first ride I went on at Walt Disney World, and five years ago, it became the first ride my niece went on. Another special spot of mine is near The Seas with Nemo and Friends where the giant Nemo statues are. I love sitting and looking at them. :)

In the MK- I like the pathway from the train station in Toontown that goes to Tomorrowland by the arcade. It is usually quiet- there are benches to sit down and watch the trains go by. It also is generally shady. Great place for a :snore: !

I have many WDW "special" spots but right now I'd give anything to be in FW, in the evening, with my DH and our golf cart driving around. Love that place, love the company too.

I have a couple, at least one doesn't exist any more..

Okay Special spots to go to WDW. The Turn from I 94 on to I 65 in outside of Gary, Indiana. This means that WE ARE GOING.. ( I would kill to be at that turn in the morning. )

The Little fruit stands coming into Florida on Hy 231 from Alabama to Hy 10. This are the only true discount orange stands that I can find. and not those rip off places on Hy 75. I only buy spanish peanuts when I am at these stands. and only on trips to Florida.

The old Disney stand in Ocala. This means that we are ALMOST THERE. We bought our tickets there many times.

and then there is the ARCHWAY going into the parks, That does it for me.

Seeing the castle for the first time. The Haunted Mansion. Main Street.

The Great Movie ride.

Space Ship Earth.

I think that I need to go now.. I am starting to cry..

I honestly don't know when I will be going back to WDW. if ever. and I want to go, NOW. Right Now. Tomorrow at 4 am. and right now, it can't be done.

I prefer at the Magic Kingdom, on the TTA circle around Tomorrowland.

Ooohh... I forgot about the TTA. It's so wonderful to ride this at night. Seeing tomorrow land light up and seeing the castle lit up from here is breathtaking.

Ok... now you all did it. I feel like I'm going to cry now. Thanks for making me relive my wonderful memories...:( I too want to go back... but I don't see me going anytime in the near future....

I've got a few...

- Front of the Monorail at night, riding around feeling like your the only person that matters in WDW
- A hammock on the beach at the Polynesian, watching Wishes, and then the electrical water pageant.
- Grand Canyon Concourse at the contemporary, seeing monorails passing by overhead. This is my first vivid memory of WDW when I was a kid and we stayed there in 86.
- The Tambu Lounge at the Polynesian, specifically two years ago. There used to be a live musician named Van'a that played there, and my wife and I saw him play frequently for about 4 months, and then every week for his last four weeks at the resort. We ended up becoming quite close. On his last night, he gave my wife his lei (made with real flowers!) that the staff at 'Ohana had given him. I miss live music. :( I mean, the hukilau and the coconut races are nice, but it's no live set...
- The Christmas store in Liberty Square. My wife and I have bought a new ornament there every November for the past 4 years for our anniversary. It really means a lot to both of us.
- Anywhere I can hear and watch the Candlelight Processional.
- Finally - right in the Hub at night during MVMCP at the MK. Watching the Holiday Wishes show and being able to just bask in the Christmas Spirit and hold my wife close to me as we're both practically crying from being so overwhelmed with how beautiful everything was. That's my most distinct memory that I don't think I'll ever forget.
