Is the Flying Dutchman still at Castaway Cay?

Disney should replace the Hat with the Dutchman... nothing quite sums up the Golden Age of Hollywood like a ghost ship from a modern film. Can you imagine the photos?

On second thought, I think it'd be neat if they could dock it at Downtown Disney, and offer tours of it or something. I really don't know how they'd get it here, or even if Village Lake (or Bay Lake, for that matter) is deep enough.

Maybe put it in Fulton's location. I don't like seafood, anyway.

NO....We love Fultons ....but since we own in SSR FINALLY it would be great to see it on the lake there:sohappy:
ANYWAY back to thread.....the Black Pearl is a steel barge with wooden structures built on top to resemble a real ship. In addition, a soundstage set was used to achieve better control over fog machines. For the second and third movies, a floating sailing ship was actually built in the shipyards at Bayou La Batre (home to Forest Gump) in Alabama on the hull of ship Sunset to serve as the set, though it is not an authentic tall ship. Another version, mounted on a gimbal, was built for filming the Maelstrom battle. The ship formerly known as the sunset is in storage in Ensenada, Mexico. From Wikipedia
