My 5 year old DD is tells me why you can't find Mulan and Pocahantas in stores, Disney and etc. She has a theory which I think is quite interesting...she says they're "wild girls". She's not particularily attracted to these charcters, she just notices their abscence and comments on it. I myself am hard core Disney Princess ( with leanings toward Belle, who saves her Prince rather than the other way around). I just think it's neat that the wee one notices these other girls and gets them for who they are.
