...it has been a week and we haven't gotten our envelope to send back the deposit. Should I call em or wait a couple days?
I would have to say that either it's in the mail, or that they screwed up - which would not surprise me AT ALL!
There have been threads recently about the poor quality of Disney reservationists!
When I booked Riverside about a month and a half ago, I also requested a Vacation Planner DVD - still no sign of it, so she obviously couldn't operate the computer. She also had trouble changing my name and address in the computer - twice.
THEN, last week I tried to book Cinderella's Round Table for Lunch time on Friday, June 11 - and the reservationist spent 10 minutes trying to find that restaurant, then told me that there was no availability for 2 people at all on that day, so I couldn't book. HOWEVER, knowing that the lady was a complete moron, I called back the next day and got someone else - who looked and found MANY openings right away, so I booked.
It's amazing how AWFUL they are, and how WONDERFUL they were just a few short years ago. So, my suggestion, CALL them and verify payment over and over and over - its not like you can annoy someone because you get a different monkey every time.
