Wheres My Reservaton Envelope?

My family just booked our reservations at the pop century. We have a "Magical Gathering" this July for a week. Only problem is that it has been a week and we haven't gotten our envelope to send back the deposit. Should I call em or wait a couple days? Im very depressed right now i need a disney vacation. Ive had PDD since i came back in October.:D

i would have waited anohter 2 weeks but it was due back next week. But we called and they said send a check to the money place for disney so were all set.

We have a grand gatherings at Pop in June using the AP discount code. Well, my name is listed as the gathering rep. They made a clerical error and used my brothers name...I am married so its a different last name. Well, some brilliant postal worker (as a former USPS employee I can b*tch about this;) } wrote on our envelope ..NOT AT THIS ADDRESS w/o delivering it, well, someone else who knows me and my family & works at USPS caught the error and told them to deliver the envelope. I was not happy, not with the error on the envelope, but more importantly, for the PTF who wrote on the envelope in black marker which bled through....I called WDW and paid using my Disney Visa Card over the phone...so maybe it was a clerical error, or a postal error, regardless....at least its all taken care of and you are going to DISNEY~~~ whooo hoooo!

I would have to say that either it's in the mail, or that they screwed up - which would not surprise me AT ALL!

There have been threads recently about the poor quality of Disney reservationists!

When I booked Riverside about a month and a half ago, I also requested a Vacation Planner DVD - still no sign of it, so she obviously couldn't operate the computer. She also had trouble changing my name and address in the computer - twice.

THEN, last week I tried to book Cinderella's Round Table for Lunch time on Friday, June 11 - and the reservationist spent 10 minutes trying to find that restaurant, then told me that there was no availability for 2 people at all on that day, so I couldn't book. HOWEVER, knowing that the lady was a complete moron, I called back the next day and got someone else - who looked and found MANY openings right away, so I booked.

It's amazing how AWFUL they are, and how WONDERFUL they were just a few short years ago. So, my suggestion, CALL them and verify payment over and over and over - its not like you can annoy someone because you get a different monkey every time.

It's always a good things to remember if you think that the Disney reservationist is not doing things right, to politly say thank you and good-bye, hang up, and call back in and hopefully you will get someone that has a clue. :D
