There was a time 20 years ago or so, likely more, when I was consumed with posting on Disney boards, primarily Laughing Place and wherever Al Lutz happened to be. My life now is NOTHING like it used to be. People here now probably have no knowledge of me, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I no longer go to anything Disney, haven't been a passholder in years, retired three years ago, had my own very serious health issues, etc.
On a whim, I googled Al Lutz, which led to Darkbeer. I learned of their passing today. Lutz and I used to email back and forth now and then but really nothing of consequence. However, for reasons now I can't pinpoint, I used to get into massive arguments with Darkbeer online. My only memory of it now is whatever it was, he was wrong and I was right. Then again, I argued with a lot of people.
I am genuinely sorry to read that Al and DB have died. My condolences to the families and I wish I could take back all the nastiness from so long ago. In the scheme of things, none of it mattered.
