According to WDWCOLLEGEPROGRAM.com, you can not intern as a Imaginear. If you have heard different, please post.

Hmm...at least you could a year ago (I know because I applied many times)....I am almost positive you still can..but you need to inquire with WDI directly instead of going thru the usual Disney hiring process...

You know now that I think about it, I believe I have heard something about that. It really does not matter to me anyway. I am a left brain person. (NOT ARTISTIC) hahaha.

Thanks that would be a great thing, I was under the assumption that imaginears were strictly involved in Developing and Planning of Disney things. If you could post the link, it would be great? I am already commited to Merchandise as of now, but their is always the future.

Imagineers do pretty much everything...its really neat actually. You may want to pick up a book called "Walt Disney Imagineering"..it is written by the magic makers themselves and really goes into detail as exactly what it is they do....

Im still looking for the link ;)

Update

Bad news... I looked in the catalog here and there is no book here called "Walt Disney Imagineering", is that the name of the book. Or is there a different name. What about an author.

well it's kinda a joke with my parents, cousin and me that I was gonna work at Space Ship earth, being the person who walks backwards loading people into the little car things...But I'm not sure I wanna do that
And the first time my cousin and my brothers had been there, I showed them around the hotel and a little around magic kingdom so they kept calling me tour guide, but I donno if I'd wanna do that either

I'm not sure :)

I have that book! I love the detail and all of the pictures in it. It sure gives you a wider view on things in Imagineering. My friend who goes to Ringling School of Art and Design, has told me that a person frm Disney came down to talk to the, and she learned of this iternship, as well as the Animation internship. It souns so exciting...I WiSH I had a portion of her talent! She is majoring in Illustration....I have known people wh did the Animation internship, then after graduation went elsewhere....
