Where was your best dining experience

From what I gather, this restaurant is love it or hate it, but we loved the Liberty Tree Tavern (four adults). The food was good, the server was so friendly, and we got tons of attention from the characters! We had one of the last ADR's of the evening, and the characters were hilarious.

I would also recommend Chef Mickey's (tasty food, and great dessert buffet). We also really enjoyed Mama Melrose's, O'hanas, Crystal Palace (we liked it for both dinner and breakfast), and Le Cellier (reserve that one quickly... ADR's go fast!).

I have not tried many, but I would DEFINITELY recommend Le Cellier and Ohanas. A good character breakfast is Crystal Palace. A slightly cheaper buffet was Trails End Buffet.

Would not recommend Restaurantosauras, Chef Mickey's dinner, and definitely not Captain Jacks.

I really have THREE absolute favorites!!! Like the others here, I THOROUGHLY enjoyed Le Cellier in the Canadian Pavillion....they serve these breadsticks (pre-meal) and you GOTTA try the PRETZEL breadsticks...they're served WARM and they're to DIE FOR!!! :slurp: :slurp: (I'm drooling just thinking about 'em)...Second would be the Hollywood Brown Derby...their Filet Mignon is absolutely FABULOUS (and the service is GREAT)....PLUS you can get a package deal that gives you special (well that's what THEY call it) seating and allows you to enter the "back" way at Fantasmic!!! (So you don't have to "wait in line" with everyone else....and third would be the Prime Time Cafe...the whole atmosphere with everyone being "cousins" and the way they make you "keep your elbows off the table, or I'll tell Mom"...etc...it's just a WHOLE lot of fun!!!! :slurp: :slurp:

canada is a favorite, as is the coral reef and the california grill (2 credits)...

we would love to hear from others so we can do something differnt in june...like i said we have tried most places...

looking forward to hearing from you..

I agree with this completely - I've been there 3 times and have found that the later you go the better it is (if you're an adult atleast) the later meals there's less kids and the characters interact with you more. Also every server I've ever had there has been exceptionally friendly and even the character wranglers were really nice and friendly. Last year Dale spent over 30 minutes with us - but that may have had something to do with the fact that it was my birthday (and the annoying bratty kids at the other end of the room that tried to shove minnie mouse down the stairs  !)

I also really enjoyed the food at the Columbia Harbour House and the buffet at Hollywood and Vine was really great, awesome servers there as well.

I love eating at Chef Mickey's. I've been there everytime I"ve visited WDW. Hollywood & Vine at MGM has some good food. Its a buffet with lots of stuff. I do the Fantasmic package with them. :)

The restaurent in the temple, in the Mexico pavillion at Epcot. Went...and LOVED it. I found the food tastey, and the view was stunning. Again..in my oppion.

By far...the wort place I have eaten at Disney, would be Tony's in Magic kingdom. Prices were insane. The ONLY place at Disney where the portions wernt accptable (and usually ther quite good with portions). And the food tasted sub-par at best.

Just my oppinions though.

There are so many restaurants that I've had an amazing dining experience, but both Boma and Jiko stick out in my mind. They both have an increible atmosphere, especially Jiko. And the food... it's just mouth-watteringly good. It's so good, I had to make up a word to describe it! :slurp:

Our favorite is California Grill. Last year we ended up eating there 3 times! We go only once a year for 10 days each September (been the pattern for the last 8 years) and one of the waiters always comes over to us to say "Hi". I am always amazed that he remembers us!

Also, Jiko's in Animal Kingdom Lodge. The place is beautiful and the food just has good. We have always been pleased with the service also.

We LOVE Jiko's. What a great experience going there! We always make it our first dinner upon arrival. Sort of like a tradition. I am not into lamb but my fiancee says they have the BEST lamb there. I think they also have great appetizers and their cheese plate is fantastic.
I also love 1900 Park Fare for breakfast (have never had a chance to eat dinner there though). The food is good but love it most for the memories and child like quality to the room. Plus, the characters really do a good job there, spending lots of time at each table. Again a tradition here as we always eat breakfast there our first full day there.

The only sit-down restaurant we've ever gone to while at WDW was Garden Grill. The last time I was there I was 4, so I don't really know what the food or service was like. I know that we liked it there because when we went when I was 10, we made ressies for there butended canceling them.

I really liked Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort, it was delicious! And my personal favorite, absolutely can't miss, is the Sci-Fi Drive-In at MGM. The lunch menu is MUCH better than the dinner menu though. When's the last time you had Fetticine Alfredo at a drive-in movie?? That's just silly :animwink:

Liberty Tree Tavern dinner is awesome. Great food, which is all you can eat family style, and characters on top of that.

Alfredo's at Epcot in the Italy pavillion is great. San Angel Inn in Mexico is good, too.

I've never had a sit down meal at MGM.
