Where to put Frozen

My first thread and I apologize if one like this has been created. Frozen is going into EPCOT Norway, which I feel is a bad place for it (I love Maelstrom). I was thinking the other night about where it should go and while MK is the best fit for it I couldn't think of where it could be placed in Fantasyland. Is there space for it or would something have to be replaced? What do you guys think?

Oh wow.

Read the threads about Frozen in Norway. And Maelstrom closing. And the FLE.

I stopped reading when you said Mealstrom was a great attraction.

You'll love the new Frozen attraction, as it's the exact same ride with just some new cardboard cut outs.

Frozen belongs everywhere except Animal Kingdom IMHO. Fortunately or unfortunately... however you want to look at it... Frozen is going to be a classic and will more than likely be here to stay! I will miss Maelstrom. We'll just have to wait and see how the Frozen ride turns out.;)

I think the best way to add Frozen into Magic Kingdom is getting a rid of Tomorrowland Speedway. That spot though could also be used for Wonderland, or Mary Poppins.

I honest don't anything for Fantasyland right now needs to be replaced by Frozen. It boils to the Belle & Greet space should have been better off as a Beauty and the Beast Ride.

IMO that would shrink down Tomorrowland way too much. At that rate might as well just scrap it if Fantasyland would take that much real estate. My vote would be for a dark ride in that area. Many have postulated a Tron light cycles coaster but anything new and futuristic that fosters the dreamer and imagination in a way that makes the future seem just out of reach would be a win. Heck even an updated Horizons-ish attraction (not a clone) would be cool, maybe something NOT tied to a movie!

First of all they should have put the ride in Fantasyland where it belongs, plus they have a perfectly good spot for it where the Snow White ride used to be, second of all how are they going to fit a dissent ride on the little amour of track space Maelstrom had. They better open this ride before the hype dies down. And if any franchise is going to fix Epcot it's not going to be Frozen, its going to be Tomorrowland.

I see you point. I went by Tokyo Disneyland getting a rid of their Tomorrowland Speedway aka Grand Circuit Raceway for expanding their Fantasy Land.

Great? Probably not. Classic? YES! The ride was one of the last surviving pieces of the original EC, and while I am not a fan of keeping things for nostalgic purposes, there was a charm to the ride that couldn't be ignored.
