Where to go for the KttK Tour?

My group of 5 has booked the Keys to the Kingdom Tour for our upcoming trip. We booked the 8:30 tour because I have heard that there might be less people at this time. We were told to be at City Hall at the MK by 8:15. Since the park doesn't open until 9, we just wanted to know how we get into the park that early. We know where the gate is and all, but we don't know if there will be CM's handy to let us in. Does anyone know how to do this? Also, what can we expect on this tour that will be really exciting/interesting? Thanks!

I belive it was all the way to the right at the turnstyles, they had cast member with a list of PS and tour people. Just go over to them CMs at the turnstyles with your tickets and you shouldn't have a problem.

You will be allowed on the monorails early if you tell them you are doing the tour, then go to the entrance and CM's will direct where you will enter.

The tour is one of the nicest experiences a Disney lover can have. It does depend on your tourguide...some are good, others are great. It also depends somewhat on the other folks in your tourgroup.

Enter in through the turnstiles on the far right... Tour check-in takes place at the Main Street Gallery, current site of package pick-up. Be sure to show up about 15 minutes ahead of time, to allow time to receive your nametag, backstage access lanyard, optional audio equipment, and give the friendly guest relations folks your lunch order for your stop at the Columbia Harbor House later on in your tour. After checking in, be sure to take care of any biological needs, then meet your tour guide for an audio test and introduction about 5 minutes before your tour is scheduled to begin, in the Guided Tour Garden adjacent to your check-in location.
