Where to get rideshare at Epcot

I'm going to be at EPCOT until closing, then heading to my room at AKL. I have to get up super early the next day, so I'd rather not spend an hour-plus dealing with the bus that night.

I've heard Lyft and Uber are cheap and fast. But where the heck do you meet them? How do you find your ride in the chaos? I can't picture it at all.

It is not far from where the bus stops, taxis and shuttles wait.

You will walk towards the bus area, enter the area, but stay on the sidewalk that takes you out to the parking lot. That is where you pick up the ride share. I hope this makes sense, but I think once you see what I am describing, you'll understand.

But, what I do when I am leaving Epcot after fireworks is walk over to BC and get my ride there. It is not chaotic and you will wait under the porte cochere. When you request a ride, you will get the name of your driver, the make and model of the car and their plate number so you can identify your ride.

This is the official pick-up spot from the Uber info site for drivers. This spot is just beyond the monorail station on the left.

So you don't walk towards the bus stations? I saw somewhere else people said go towards the bus stations but that looks like that's where they wait in the cell lot. You just walk past the monorail station and stay left and go into a parking lot, right?

The official Uber pickup is where the map lists it, the Journey lot just beyond the monorail station. I believe that's where the app suggest they go for pickup.

Of course that doesn't mean that Guests actually pay attention to where the app suggests they wait. I'm sure many just head toward the large gaggle of waiting Uber cars visible on the app's map thinking that they're being helpful or shortening their wait time by getting closer to where the cars are. (Even if it puts them in a spot where the Uber driver then has trouble actually getting to)

I also don't know what Lyft does.
