Epcot has two table service and one quick service Mexican restaurants. Which one is better?

Definitely the better one is La Hacienda, food and service is very spotty at San angel. If you're just looking for a taco the QS isn't bad.
I’ll take a taco—
There are far better places to get Mexican food on property than at Epcot. I've had horrendous meals at both locations.

I know. But when I'm in Epcot, I was thinking of trying one of their restaurants.

San Angel used to be delicious as was the QS. that was before they changed chefs. But I will never forget the fried ice cream at San angel, to this day no restaurant including supposed to be authentic has replicated it.

I agree with most of the above - San Angel Inn for atmosphere and La Hacienda for excellent food. And the food at San Angel Inn isn't bad at all. They've improved quite a bit in the past couple of years. But La Hacienda is one of my favorites. Try the crema de elote - basically a creamy corn soup - really tasty!

We really like the San Angel Inn. The ambiance is outstanding (if a little cramped) and the food has been pretty good the times we've been there.

This year we're switching it up and got rezzies for La Hacienda during the Epcot Forever fireworks.

I am interested in this thread as well. I have been having trouble thinking up 14 different and varied-cuisine restaurants to go to during my upcoming trip in June. Looking at the menus between the two Mexican restaurants at EP, I am thinking La Hacienda is the one that I want to go with. I am particularly interested in others' opinions on the different dishes as I am leaning toward the shrimp tacos but the flank steak sounds interesting too. I also read somewhere that you can only get alcoholic drinks under $15 on the DDP at La Hacienda. Is that true?

When we dined on the DDP last year there was only one cocktail they said wasn’t included, everything else was fine but I have heard mixed feedback about drinks and DDP at a number of places.
