Hey guys, me and the wife are planning an anniversary trip in May or June, and I wanted to know if you have to stay in SS to get a massage or spa treatment, and if not where else can you can one at the world?

Mandara Spa @ the Dolphin.....

We never actually visited the spa for any treatments during our 2 stays at the Dolphin, but In July I had a quick look around and It looks good!

They always seemed to have quite a lot of offers / discounts on on certain days, but I'm not sure if this was for Swan/Dolphin guests?

You don't have to be staying at SS to go to the spa...the same goes for the GF spa. I had a massage and pedicure at GF spa in August and it was fantastic! The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing, the staff very friendly. I also hear great things about the spa at SS.

I've had a facial the last few years at the spa at GF. it's definitely worth it. I enjoy them more than massages.

You do give you a mini massage during the longer facials.

That sounds good too...I will have to try a facial next trip! Did they try to talk you into buying any of their products after? That is the one thing I hate when I have done them in the past by me......they always push u to buy their face products :(

I can't remember individually how much but together it came to about $200.00 (not including tip). It is pricey but it was our honeymoon trip and definitely worth it for a special occasion. I had the 50 minute swedish massage and regular spa pedicure. They have lovely changing rooms with beautiful lockers and they give you comfy robes to wear. It was a great experience. I believe both spas (SS and GF) are operated by the same company. I thought it was fully Disney operated but there was a sign by the door that said the spa was owned so and so (sorry can't remember the name). It was a great experience! :)

i don't find that to be a problem. They do leave suggested products when you check out, but there was no push to purchase anything.
