Where to eat Thanksgiving dinner

Going to be around Disney on Thanksgiving. Since we are away from home, we like to find a good place for the "usual American Thanksgiving feast" (turkey, stuffing, etc...you know).

Any good places to go?

If you're asking about where you should make reservations for Thanksgiving dinner ON-PROPERTY, NOW, THE DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING, the correct answer would be "wherever you can possibly get reservations." Dang near everyplace will be booked by now.

Off-property, I've no idea. Sorry.

That about sums it up...ANYWHERE you can get in. Best of luck to you

^^ Word. Squared.

Liberty Tree Tavern would be my #1 choice though :slurp:

As was said, anywhere (and anytime) that will take you.

However .... if by some odd twist of fate you have a choice.

#1 - Liberty Tree Tavern

#2 - Garden Grill

They both serve family style "Thanksgiving-y" dinners. I would suspect most on property places have some sort of Thanksgiving offering, but those two have it on a regular basis.

You waited kinda late to ask that question, and I think it would be a safe bet to say that you aren't going to get a sit down reservation anywhere on site that serves traditional Thanksgiving. Most plan that months in advance but you might try a Barnhills offsite if there is one. I don't know, I would just start looking for other options.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but atleast I am not the only one.

Off property, Mimi's Cafe offers a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner served from 10 AM until 7 PM (at least those are the hours at my store in Ohio). There are two Mimi's in the Orlando area and you can find directions at Mimiscafe.com

For $14.99 per person it includes white or dark meat, stuffing, cranberry relish, mashed potatos, mashed sweet potatos, soup OR salad, choice of desert (pumpkin pie, chocolate mousse cake OR Bread pudding) They also offer a lower price for the children's version.

Thanks for all the replies. I know it was late notice...but didn't know it was that popular that we had to call months in advance (which is what it turned out to be).

We got in at the Marriot World Center for their buffet dinner...so we are going for that. We were also looking at the Columbia Restaurant in Orlando.

The Columbia in Celebration? I haven't eaten at that one, but have eaten in 3 others...love their food - Cuban/Spanish. :slurp:

I have eaten at the Ybor City Columbia, and it was very good (there is a lot of Cuban food around where I live as well). I don't know if I would go there looking for Thanksgiving fare though.

I do see that they are serving the following, but is it really what they are good at? Pumpkin flan does sound interesting though.

The Gonzmart family invites you and your family to join us for a traditional Thanksgiving feast including Roast Vermont Turkey, served with Columbia stuffing, fresh vegetables, whipped potatoes, candied yams, cranberry sauce and giblet gravy.

Dinner also includes a choice of soup or salad; and a dessert choice of Pumpkin Pie, Key Lime Pie, Pumpkin Flan or Flan. Beverages include your choice of Coffee, Tea or Soft Drinks.

The cost is $18.95 for adults and $4.95 for children under 10. We will begin serving at 11 a.m. The complete dinner menu is also available all day.

We stopped by MK, and we could have got into Plaza Restaurant since they were trying to bring people in...but we were looking for a big Thanksgiving dinner.

We stuck with out reservations at the Marriott World Center. Good buffet at Solaris. Thanks for asking.
