Where The Heck Do You Make a Payment For Your Hotel?!

Okay. So I'm going in August and I've made a down payment for the hotel room. Here's a screen cap of the proof.

Now today, I have enough money to pay the remaining balance, but I can't for the life of me find where to do it. I've done research and it said to go to my reservations, click view details, and the make a payment link should be right there. Like this:

But when I do it, it looks like this:

So why the heck is the link missing for me to make a payment???

My balance was due tomorrow. I spent an hour looking around and trying to figure out how to pay online. Eventually, I just gave up and called. It still took me another 38 minutes, but the CM was really cheerful and nice. I made sure to give her excellent marks on the survey.

When I went online to pay off my room only reservation for March, I couldn't get the online check out to accept my Disney Visa! :confused: I had to put it on my other card and then switch it over to the Disney Visa (for the points) once we arrived at the resort. They had to reverse the charges to my other card and then apply it to the Visa. Craziness. :rolleyes:

The website stinks. Yesterday I tried to change the primary to my name instead of my husband (as I will be running it all and the MDE account. It deleted him and had me 2x.

I called and they said there are issues with there system and they cannot fix that glitch for at least a week. When I said I could not believe how bad their system was, the CM readily agreed and said there is no explanation. And that I should call back next week to try to fix it then.

he claimed the actual reservation in unchanged. Let's hope so. :rolleyes:

When you have a room only booking you have to call to pay for it. We found this out several years ago, you can only do package payments on-line. Why, this I cannot explain but that is the way it has been.

Disney is just being nice - as their website clearly shows, everything is FREE this year :).

OK - seriously... is it just me, or is anyone else thinking that the need to apply any kind of "trick" on that stinking excuse for a website, just to conduct a normal business transaction, renders the site (and the management responsible for it) of "no value" or "negative value" for the WDW corporation?

The site should be repaired, or simply shut down. It's an embarrassment to the entire Disney Corporation.

Goofy stuff in the middle of the night, minor bugs, even if they last for a few days, I can understand...but the site has been wholly unstable and inconsistent for far too long now.

They should just roll back to the old site and I dunno...BETA test things before pushing them out?
