Where should I stay??

Right now I have reservations for the contemporary for my August trip for 129.87 a night. I can also get a room at the wilderness lodge for 127.11 a night. So my question is which one should I go to? I have heard great things about both. Help me out here!

I would stay with the Contemporary, Much easier to get around( you can walk to M.K. or to the TTC) plus you have the Monorail(easier to visit the Poly,Grand Floridian).Otherwidse at the Wilderness you have to rely on the buses or the boat.

Try the Contemporary this time. It's nice. then next time you go try something else. the Poly is our fav but my husband is glad we tried the Contemporary at least once.

CR...the rooms are a lot bigger and the bathrooms are nicer too. The rooms at WL are a little small and dark. But the WL pool is nicer. :animwink:

how did you get that great rate? i have the mkc and am curious how to make sure i get the best rates for our travel dates. also what hotels are worth paying the extra $ for

Dwarful....try www.mousesavers.com I got a good rate code for my vacation there. She has a few discounts good for this summer but you should book soon because I hear the resorts are filling up.

I am a travel agent so I usually get good rates at the resorts. I paid 270 for 4 nights at Riverside over Christmas Time.

Good deal! I hate going over Christmas...we have to stay with MIL at the HGVC by Seaworld.

So....did you decide?

ive stayed at the Yacht club, and since its connected to EPCOT it was amazing being able to just walk over thier in the morning.

I think that I will be staying at the contemporary. Everyone here said that I should go there. The resort and the rooms look very nice, the only thing that doesn't appeal to me is the pool. But I guess I can do that Illegal pool hopping thing when i am there (they never check).

The Contemporary pool isn't the best, but it's big, and it has two jacuzzi's.

Pool-hopping, my favorite! I definately recommend hopping on the monorail and hitting the new POLY and GF pools.

and of course the best pool on property the Y&B club pool.

We hopped to the pool at the Boardwalk in August. It was pretty small but the slide was great. I stood on top of the slide and stared at ToT and the back of RnRC for like 10 minutes.
