Ditto to Yacht and Beach Club's Storm-a-long bay. It's like its own little water park!

Honorable mention to Coronado Springs, just because I like the Pryamid.

Forget pools...

The Wilderness Lodge's Jacuzzi is the BEST after a long day at the parks!

Last Decemeber when we'd get back from the parks late, we'd go in the jacuzzi at about 11 and there was never anyone there! It was so peaceful and relaxing!

Poly has the best pool and slide, the slide at the Wildernes lodge is very sad to say the least. Then I would pick Dixies water slide a close second best. Then GF theres is like the Polys but not in a tunnel, and Coronados is cool also.Wildernes deserves a better slide,I know I would stay there again if they did.

I may be a little biased to Yacht and Beach Club's Stormalong Bay because I worked there as a lifeguard on my college program. However, having said that, even if I had never worked there, I would probably still think it is the best pool on Disney property. First of all, it's HUGE. It covers 3 acres. Secondly, it has something for everyone. I like the fact that it has not just one slide, but two. For the kids that are too young or too scared of the "Big" slide, there is a small slide behind the pirate ship just for them. Kids who are afraid of deeper water can enjoy the rather large kiddie pool, which is only 2 feet deep in most places. Thirdly, I don't know of any other resort pool where you can rent tubes and float around on a lazy river. That is a definite plus for both kids and adults. Stromalong bay also features well hidden jacuzie's as well as a few waterfalls which kids and their parents love to play under. Oh yeah, and if you're walking around on the sand bottom, see if you can find the "Quicksand"....that's right, if you stand in a certain place, you will start to sink! *Hint: hang out by the bouyie. Can't forget about the whirlpool either. Just get in, good luck trying to get out! Those are some of the things that make Yacht and Beach Club pool truely unique and in my opinion, the best Walt Disney World Resort pool. :D

WHOA COOL ABOUT THE BEACH CLUB POOL. I MIGHT NEED TO VISIT THAT THE NEXT TIME I GO.

I ALSO THINK THAT EVEN THOUGH WE LOVEDSTAYING AT THE FORT WILDERNESS RESORT, THEY HAD A VERY BORING POOL. I WISH WHEN THEY CLOSED RIVER COUNTRY THEY COULD HAVE INPROVED THAT POOL.

I love the pool at the Polynesian Resort. Ever since the addition of the volcano, I can't enough of the atmosphere. The Yacht and Beach Club is a very close second for me.

I think one of the best pools on property for younger kids is at Caribbean Beach, the main pool. It's bright and tropical and open, and many kids love pirate fantasies. The fortress is really neat to explore, the cannons fire water, and they ahve the water falls and shooting fountains, along with a small slide. Again, for kids, I thnk its great. And for parents too, b/c you can see the entire pool even though it is quite large.

Tho Stormalong Bay is a great pool which I love as well, if I had kids, I'd be frustrated b/c the pools links around everywhere and has so many different nooks that you can get easily lost or have your young chiildren out of sight. Heck, you even take wrong turns while on dry land it gets so confusing!

Both pools are really great!!

Currently, all Walt Disney World lifeguards are trained by Ellis and Associates. First there is a basic swim test, then 3 days of training by the Ellis staff, followed by even more training at your resort, then you start work.

In-service is required 4 hours every month. On most mornings and evenings, in-service is offered for half and hour or an hour, so you can spread it out, unless it's the end of the month and you still have hours to do.

Every so often, Ellis people show up out of nowhere and fakes a drowning just to make sure everyone is doing their job.
