When you are in the part of the ride with the birds singing "how do you do" and then you are looping around Brer Bear where he's on the left and then this is on the right?

Pretty much. This is on the left where jumping Brer Rabbit normally is, and Brer Bear is on the right. If you look closely, you can see the mechanical support for Brer Rabbit
