Many schools got out early today, around 2:00, because of a snow storm. Even though it was a work day with no kids for us, we were let go at 2:30. Roads are getting bad, especially in town.

Our kids got out at 12:45 today, it just started snowing here about 5 minutes ago.

It’s hitting us tomorrow. Along with periods of freezing rain ... and then a deep flash freeze.

If we don’t get “the call” before leaving for work tomorrow, we’re going to bring an overnight bag. If we actually do make it in, it’s unlikely we’ll make it home.

Fingers crossed we’re just told to stay home.

It was just starting in my work town shortly before 2:30. I drive west to come home, so often I drive into the storms and it gets worse as I get closer to home.

Fog can be no joke, though. Also, I forget that people often post from work around here. I wish I was able to do that. I don't even have a chance to respond to texts during the day. If those darn kids would just leave me alone...

It will hit 32 degrees here tonight and by noon it will be raining. They are probably putting the national guard on alert. Folks around here don't cope well with rain in the summer, but add a little cold air to the picture and it becomes an emergency situation.

Just have Mike stomp on it about 4 times and it will be PB&J. Have him do it only twice and you will have crunchy peanut butter.
