Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

It’s Clean Sheet Friday. It’s also the end of September - that time of year when the electric blanket comes out. Better safe than sorry methinks.
So that was what, five weeks ago?
Well, I never did install the electric blanket. I’d left all of the controllers still in place (unplugged, of course) last spring. I laundered the blanket, and put it somewhere safe - probably with those stupid MNSSHP tickets I still haven’t found.

I’ve looked everywhere - linen closet, under bed storage containers, basement storage containers, my closet, Ski’s old closet, every dresser drawer .... Well, clearly not everywhere, because my electric blankie is still MIA.

Last night, I’m in bed wearing fluffy socks, huddled under the sheet, a blanket, the comforter, my housecoat spread out like blankie #3 and I am literally shivering. (Mike is snoring, ON TOP OF THE COVERS, so he’s no help. *sigh*)

And then I decided - that’s it! I reached over in the dark, grabbed my phone, and bought a new electric blanket on Amazon. (I might also have decided that Mike wants to buy me a 7” Britto Eeyore for Christmas. 😂)

Order confirmed at 2:42 am.

You can bet I’ll find the missing electric blanket any minute now. Score for Ski, I guess. He and I are always freezing while Mike and Son #1 bake.

I put a question on the WDWMagic Disney Dining Forum. Yet, maybe someone here would like to answer as well.
On the Disney Dining Plan we'll use this coming week, what are BREAKFAST foods/drinks that qualify as SNACKS?
I want to use our "snack" credits for breakfast.
Lunch will be the "Quick Service" eateries such as "Cosmic Rays".
Dinner is our reserved "Sit Downs"
....................anyway, thanks for any tips on "snacks" as a breakfast ;)
Are you wanting to eat breakfast at your resort, or did you want to wait until you're in the parks? I'm pretty sure that there's a sort of donut sundae at The Plaza in Magic Kingdom that's considered a snack credit...or the waffle sandwiches at Sleepy Hollow. There are a couple of things at Gaston's that were snack credits when we were there 2 years ago....a cinnamon role and some bread, cheese, and ham pastry. Possibly the giant donuts at the carts everywhere. Funnel cakes at the cart in Epcot by the American Pavilion. I think a lot of the resort QS locations have a breakfast sandwich for a snack credit. You'll just have to ask when you get there...there's usually a symbol next to snack credit items on the menu, if I remember correctly. Fruit and drinks are also on there, but aren't a particularly good value. Have you looked for a video or article on Disney Food Blog? That's my go-to for dining questions. I just spent my morning there because someone posted a link to the 2019 dining plan list of restaurants, and if it's a final list, I'm going to have to completely redo my ADR plans for next summer, because they've removed all TS restaurants from Disney Springs, and about half the restaurants, both QS and TS from World Showcase in Epcot, and there's not a single TS restaurant from Caribbean Beach Resort on the list, which is where we're staying. So hopefully DFB (Disney Food Blog) will be able to look into that and find out if that's legit or not. They are a great resource. I know they have videos about breakfast, using the dining plan, good snack credit values....so you should be able to find something.

Is it the kind that is more like a mattress pad that goes under your fitted sheet? Or is it an actual blanket? If the first, is it possible that Mike put it on for you because he knew you'd need it soon? I came home this time last year from work to a nice warm bed...DH had installed the electric mattress pad and turned it on for me. I'd check the bed.

Last year, I switched from the mattress pad to the blanket. I’m sure there’s a post about it somewhere. 😂

BTW, the blanket is way warmer.

ETA - yup, found it ....
After four or five years of having a heated mattress pad, this year I switched to an electric blanket. Dual controlled, of course.

Okay Winter, I’m ready. (Not really, but you know what I mean.)

Holly seems to like it too. :)

With me, it's socks--I always lose one. I wish that companies would sell 3 socks in a packet--that way, I'd probably always have a full pair (after losing 1 sock) to last me maybe a year, before I lost a 2nd sock in the pair?! :p
Little Miss Matched at DS used to sell socks in packages of 3.

They were all totally different, mind you, but still ....

Today we did a plumbing project. I now have bought hacksaw #3. Do NOT ask me where hacksaw #1 and hacksaw #2 are.

Mickey’s 90th Spectacular starts in 4 minutes on ABC, naturally.

It’s probably mostly a 2-hour advert, so I’ll record it to allow fast-forwarding privileges.
