The owner of this condo left a pamphet about all the conservation areas in the general vicinity, so we've been exploring a few. Today we went to Cherokee Point on Lake Tohopekaliga. It was really pretty and well kept up, with a beautiful boardwalk out to the lake and a small pond for catch-and-release fishing. The caretaker lives right there in a very nice house, so the grounds are spotless. Here's a few random pictures I took there:

Then on our way back we stopped at the neighborhood eagle nest and saw mom eagle sitting up waiting for dad, Dad showed up a few minutes later with a fish, whcih Mom took and shredded for her babies. It was neat to watch them together , even though he didn't stay long.
