So it was exactly a year ago today that we lost my mother. In some ways it seems like a lot longer ago, and in some ways it feels like it just happened.

Some memories fade quickly, while others just linger on. Sometimes, it's the oddest things that throw us into a time warp. It was a good few years after my mother passed away, and one morning my eye caught the shiny hubcap of a car parked on the side of the street. I stopped and sort of gasped--my mother's car had shiny hubcaps (she had bought a really nice car a few years before she became ill). And for a moment, it was like she was THERE somewhere near her car. In that split second, I think I actually looked for her. That was bizarre, but there was this weird suspension of time that happened. So it's these "reminders" that come out of the blue on occasion, that mess with your perception of time. I'll bet that you are reminded of her more often than you realize.

My mom passed away 11 years ago on November 1st. It doesn't seem possible that it was that long ago, then I have to remember that my dad passed 21 years ago. It is scary just how fast time passes.

Cabana thread update: you do not even have exclusive use of the cabana for $650.00 plus tax per day...it is a time share and you must share your cabana with other families.

Disney has lost their freaking minds.
Is that confirmed? I read that about an hour ago, but it was just one poster.
