Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I would rather see these signs than fences at the beach areas.
And the fences are going up, even as we speak. They had pictures of it on TV tonight. And they are ugly, but, what are you gonna do. The kid paid the ultimate price for the failure to let people know that there is a real danger. So many people even believe that the gators that they have seen are AA's put out by Disney. It's hard to believe that this country became a world power when you factor in just how unaware that people are.

And son of a gun, if they don't match the set of bowls I bought at Costco last summer.

I actually had bought two sets of the bowls as well, but ended up giving one set to Tammy because she liked them. Anybody think I should ask for them back?

I'm celebrating flip flop day by breaking in a new pair that I want to wear in Disney.

When I was a kid, I wore flip flops a lot in the summer. Last year, I bought a pair and they hurt between my toes, so I threw them out. This year, thought I'd try again--this time with Nike, and they're more expensive and have nice padding, too. But the thing that goes between my toes isn't the most comfortable (but not as bad as the pair I tried last year). I'm wondering if people who wear flip flops a lot build up some sort of callus/hard skin between their toes, so that it's not uncomfortable to wear them?

I love these little plates so much, that I bought two sets. I washed them, dried them, and set them on the counter to completely dry.

When Hubby walked by, I asked him to guess which of the four designs was my favourite. His first two guesses were WRONG! I would have thought it was obvious. Let's see if you guys know me any better.

My guess would be either one with the red floral border - symmetric.

I can't stand anything between my toes either, and the sound of flip-flops flipping and flopping as you walk is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

Ha! You'd be surprised how many people are oblivious to the sound. I was in a meeting a few weeks ago at work, and there were about 50 people in conference room. A woman came in about 10 minutes late, and she takes care to softly close the conf. room door behind her, to not disrupt the speaker up at the podium.

Here's the kicker: she had on flip flops, and flip-flopped (loudly) up to one of the open seats at the front of the room!! Needless to say, every head turned in her direction when they heard the sound!! I mean, I just don't "get" some people's thought processes (or lack of), sometimes??!!!

I wear nike flip flops too. I like their shape and padding it is worth the extra cost.

Not all flip flops are noisy.
I have one dressy pair at work that make the flippy noise - the rest are pretty quiet.

I wear them all year, spring/summer/fall (end-March to mid-November), with last year being a notable exception. As I shared, I only wore boots on 8 occasions last winter. The rest of the time ... flip flops.
