Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Leftovers on paper plates.
Hubby, downstairs watching the All Star Basketball game.
Me, upstairs watching The Mindy Project.

That's how we roll. Not even the least eventful Valentine's Day we've ever shared.

Tomorrow is Family Day. I've got a roast all ready to go, because Family > Hallmark/candy/flowers, any day of the year. :)

I like me some Sting. Good halftime selection.
Hubby called me down to see if I wanted to see him. "He looks like a troll", he said.

"One of those garden trolls", he added, when I went down.

"Like a garden gnome?", I ask.

"Yeah, yeah, one of those."

I put my glasses on and say, "Like the Travelocity gnome?"

"Exactly! Do you see it?"

"No. But I can see that you would." :joyfull:

Haha. I have a Travelocity gnome on my desk.

I am obsessed with castles, and would like to go to Europe one day and tour some of the great castles there.

While my dad was in his last months, I had picked up a bunch of travel brochures, and he and I spent hours picking which tour Hubby and I would take after he had passed.

Having been born in Germany (as a displaced person just after the war) he really wanted us to go there and to Austria, England (where my mom was raised) and Scotland.

Eventually, we mapped out the perfect 22-day itinerary. Whether or not he knew I was just humouring him, I'll never know.

There are however, a handful of true North American castles, and I have been to two of them - multiple times.

How about any of you?

The closest thing we have to a castle around here is this weird thing.
