Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I've sort of started on the downstairs room.

And by "sort of" I mean I've accomplished two minor tasks, and yelled at everyone else to do something.

(Which is not as mean as it sounds. Once I slip into Commando-mode, I just start chucking everything! At least I have given them the opportunity to save what needs saving.)

I have a box of 24 3-mm thick contractor grade garbage bags, and I know how to use them!

Hubby's got a basketball tournament this weekend.

Just waiting for him to leave so I can start full Commando mode. He gets so stressed out by my "efforts" to keep a nice home, that I generally wait until he's not here.

And for the record, I don't care how much I stress out the kids. For $10/hr cash, I own them!

My goal is to clear out that room enough that I can steam clean the carpet tonight.

I agree - it is great exercise - but I actually get up to exercise every morning and go all out for 30 minutes and move on with my day. Two and a half hours is just too much for me.

Yah, shovelling is heavy duty exercise, no doubt about it. I find it helps if you do half and then go inside for a break. They always interview doctors on the local TV news when there's a big storm, and they warn people about not over doing it, so they don't end up in the cardiac unit. :cautious:

Actually, I just came back in again. Hubby and I were shovelling out the back of the driveway when a kindly snow plow man came by and plowed it out for us! So I only ended up out there again for about 15 minutes this afternoon (in addition to 45 minutes earlier today) and now it's all done. Looks like winter wonderland outside and I'm digging it! :cat:

The sun came out and melted a lot of it at work, but it still looks like 6 inches fell at home so I still have to shovel a path across the deck after dinner. That will probably only be 10 minutes worth of exercise though.
