Weird. My son used a flat blade the first couple years. Hockey seems to have 1/3 or more lefthanders like baseball.

A lawn service was next door at 7 AM with noisy lawn mowers and leaf blowers. That's obnoxious but legal most weekdays. Weekends and holidays (like today) they're not allowed until 9 AM.

A tree cutting service showed up across the street on Saturday around 8am. I wanted to cut them for waking me up.

I discovered this year that I like the Halloween colored Kit Kats better than the regular ones.

I wonder what Halloween tastes like. Bats?

We have a bit of a situation in my house. We don't leave until Friday night and there is nothing in the fridge but condiments. All that's in the freezer is ice cream but not nearly enough to last until Friday. I guess I'm going to need to do a small shop to get through since we are all home together tomorrow and can't survive on mayonnaise alone.

Man cannot survive on mayo alone.

Went to the beach this morning and were greeted by a coconut that had washed up - we actually saw 3 more after this:



Lots of pelicans,seagulls, and a few dolphins off shore:









We walked way up the beach til it got too rocky - it's really a beautiful beach.
