In most houses, when you hide something, you hide it way high up.
In a house full of men ranging from 6' 3" to 6' 8", you hide it low. Way down low. Like so low, they would have to bend over. (Which they're not going to do. )

In a world full of real problems, I feel like an idiot for grieving over the Jays' loss yesterday.

Last night, I was sad, but accepting.
Today, I am depressed and PO'd at that blown fan interference/home run call.

And tomorrow, I'll probably be fine.
If not, I still have those two full boxes of mini chocolate bars hidden away.

Close losses - especially ones that were decided by a external factor - are just beyond difficult to accept. My Mets/Jets fandom have provided more instances than I can recount. But rest assured, the sports gods have a way of evening these things out eventually.

I'm guessing neither of you would prefer my method for forgetting the Yankees' wild card game and every Giants game where they face the Cowboys or Eagles:
