Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Other than Universal going overboard in plugging it's product, that was a decent flick. Had some hysterical moments, as to be expected. But they really could have cooled it a bit on the theme park infomercial. I was expecting any minute for one of the cast members to look into the camera, and give the website or phone # where you could book your next Universal Orlando vacation.
Sharknado is supposed to be fun cheesy, not annoying cheesy...and some promo moments crossed a fine line.

But the laughs certainly came through. Overall, I give it a B-.

Honestly the Universal plugs, [this reason edited out for being political], and ending with a Twitter poll really ruined it overall. It just didn't seem as fun. Which is weird because the roller coaster and birthing scenes were just perfect levels of crazy/what the freak/hilarious.

From the first few minutes into it, when one of the characters said something along the lines of "Let's head back to Cabana Bay Resort..." I was like :banghead:
I had a bad feeling after that point that we were going to be in for one long product commercial. For starters, who even talks like that normally? Most people say "Let's head back to the hotel", etc. But to spell out every product name as an obvious plug. Yeah, got old really fast. It was shameful at times.

The shark sliding up & down the RRR coaster track had me howling. And of course having the Hoff show up to pull off an Armageddon satire was clever. There were certainly some positive moments. Not sure how I feel about the poll at the end. But at least that storyline left wide open is assurance that there will be yet another installment to the franchise. Just hopefully not with a 80% Visit (insert theme park brand here) theme.

I had to skip most of the past few pages in order to avoid spoilers. Because the Sharknado movies are so unpredictable. I just wouldn't want to ruin the surprise.
