Anybody else given up on True Detective?
Hubby said that tonight was going to be a make or break episode. Apparently he threw in the towel before it was even over.

While I didn't actually watch the inaugural season, I was in the room (probably chatting with you fine folk) a couple of times while he watched. Not my cup of tea. Based on the 10-second synopsis he gave me, this season sounds absolutely putrid!

Anyway, he wants to know if any of you are watching Aquarius with David Duchovny? He suggests if anyone is bailing on TD to give Aquarius a try.

All I can say is - thank goodness the Entourage marathon is over. Even from a totally different level of the house, I was appalled at the dialogue I could overhear. Do people really speak that way?

The dialogue on True Detective is just really clunky this season. Half of Vince Vaughn's dialogue is just eyeroll worthy. We're going to finish the season just to see how the weird stuff plays out. Halfway through tonight they finally seemed to stop treading water. Also what the heck happened to Rick Springfield's face?

Aquarius I'm not watching because I'm spiteful and it was renewed instead of Hannibal.

And don't worry, there is a new version of Entourage now, except with football and The Rock! So you still have many seasons of that kind of language to come!

It's a shame that we only know where he isn't. Getting his Birthday gift to him is going to be a real hassle. I guess if we just send one to everyplace, eventually he will find it.

I went and had my nails done today, and thought I would do a trial run of my Disney manicure.

I've been doing the swirlies on a select finger or thumb for a while now. Next time around, I think I'll stick with pink and polka dots like the rest of them.

I did that thing where you check in the thread and then stop getting alerts so here's my 2 cents on the past 2 days:

I've encountered one or two in chit chat.

All I can say is - thank goodness the Entourage marathon is over. Even from a totally different level of the house, I was appalled at the dialogue I could overhear. Do people really speak that way?

I LOVED Entourage. Actually MADE hubby watch it when he was laid off the last time - after just one episode he binged for days. But I've been told (by Buzzfeed) that my brain is 75% male and 25% female. Which is weird because I'm kind of a girly girl.

You and my husband both. He can watch for HOURS. I used to be completely grossed out by the show but I must admit, once you get past the murder scenes it is pretty fascinating to see how they piece things together (and how stupid some people can be - especially in the interrogation room!)

I absolutely LOVE your nails. I am going to screen shot this to steal at a later date. I've been obsessed with Sally Hanson polish strips. They are real nail polish strips that you press onto your nails and they last over a week! You take them off with regular nail polish remover but they wear and protect like a gel. I love them.
