Went out to the Dollar Store to buy balloons, tinfoil, wrapping paper, stickers, rice, and poster paper in order to create a rain shaker for my Creative Development class. Life of an elementary ed major.

I love rain shakers!!
It doesn't sound like a real one, but it's good enough. The stickers I found were foam ones of musical notes and instruments, so it fit the theme. My non-education major friends think my education is a joke...

Driveway clear! It's especially fun to shovel while it's still snowing so you're never truly "done" - you just decide it's "good enough".

So @unkadug - being from the South - have you ever seen snow in person? Just curious.
That's a legitimate question. Yes, we have had snow storms here and it has actually stuck a few times. It's generally pretty nasty stuff down here though, a mix of snow and ice and nobody knows how to drive on either.

It it even flurries around here all the schools close and it's like a holiday with everything being closed and the grocery stores having bare shelves!

Cold freaks people out down here.

Ever enough to shovel? I thought of you this morning as I went through the routine (I do the edges so I don't keep walking on it and smushing it down, then go back and forth across the driveway, then clean off the car(s), move the car to the clean spot and shovel where the car was). As I was performing the annoying ritual I thought, "I wonder if @unkadug has ever had to deal with this nonsense!!!".

Then the plow comes along and fills the driveway in again....

Absolutely not. The most I have ever done is try to get enough to stick together to build a muddy snowman.
