I need a new mattress, so I've been researching them today. There are so many out there! It's hard to make a choice. I currently have four written down that I think might be good for me, while not being insanely priced.

From the smidge that I've read about the newer mattresses, I know that you need to be careful that you don't get the kind that tends to be hot (not sure of what they're made of -- maybe some sort of foam base -- without any cooling cover?). Now, in winter months, that might not be as much of an issue for some people, but in the warmer and hotter summer months, you'll sweat on those mattresses.

Aside of the above, I know that mattress companies tend to have some good sales, at various points throughout the year. It can mean a few hundred off their retail price. Hopefully, one of the 4 you looked at, might have an upcoming sale.

We now have one of those 2-mattress adjustable beds, that the girls picked out when we moved to the new house. Timed out pretty good, as the old bed and mattress were gettin’ pretty beat.
When I do sleep, I sleep like a stone on this one. If I move she doesn’t feel it, and if she moves I don’t feel it.
Before this, we always had a single mattress.
Those things can be tricky. We bought one once that we thought was fine, but turned out to be too firm.
We ended up returning it for something a bit more cushy…!!!

I have many spools that I picked up to satisfy the various BOGO sales at Michael’s, Jo-Ann, Frank’s, and even one from Fabric Bonanza!! Lots of silver and gray, red/gold, plaids, and even a glitter trimmed leopard print!!

Join the club! I think about how many times I've moved. Each time, there's a pile of stuff that either gets donated, or chucked in the dumpster. To tell you the truth, I can't even recall anything I've parted with, that I actually "miss" !!
