Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I still have one more day in the office, but I changed my LinkedIn profile on the way home from work today.

I’ve closed out sites before, but this is different. I’m walking away from this one.

Same feeling of relief, but significantly lighter pockets, and no sense of a job well done.

C’est la vie. The failure of this project is not on me.

I'm sure you did the best that you could in the circumstances you had. I admire that you took a chance.

Thank you sir. You were an inspiration.

I spent about 5.5 hours at school today. Although, only 3 of those were spent working in my room. The other 2.5 were spent talking to my new teammate and helping her with a bunch of questions and also talking to another coworker.

I pretty much just need my class list, otherwise I'm at a standstill for setup. I'm only counting my "working hours", so I'm up to 21 total hours working in my classroom.

James has the last canner load of salsa for the year in the canner:joyfull: I'm really proud of how he has stepped up during sling life!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Next week he goes back to class, and I get sprung sans places I'll be tempted to do heavy lifting a couple of days later. The stupid thing can be kept in the car for places like the box stores and farm markets

We had our first day of inservice today. Our admins tried to cut meetings shorter so we could have more time in our rooms to work. My husband came in at the end of the day and helped me rearrange my classroom. Things are set up except my new Clevertouch board and my computer. Well, my computer is set up but has no internet.

You might all be disappointed to hear that I've decided to return the porch goose. :(

Once I got it, I didn't love it as much. Also, the clothes I got were a mixed bag of quality (even though they came from the same place). And I thought I could spend the money on something else, such as patio string lights that I hung from the ceiling. I didn't love those at first, but everyone who has walked in my room has loved them. I'm liking them now, but thought they were a bit much at first.

So, yesterday was my last day. I kept thinking I should feel something, but alas, I did not.
I have worked for this company for 8 1/2 years, been good friends with the owner for at least twice that. Nothing.

Sadly Mike has to work four more days. We’re both off today, and it’s sort&packapalooza day. Tomorrow too.

I sent a quick text last night to my former manager (who left this company three years ago) to thank her and let her know that I had taken her up on her offer to be a reference and to hopefully expect a call from K.A. … and son of a gun if SHE didn’t offer me a job! (It’s a far commute, and I’m not sure if I want to get into that again.)

But still, she’s working on a compensation structure for me, and I’ll give it due consideration if nothing happens with the jobs Mike and I applied to last week.

Happy Tuesday everyone. Be blessed.
