Welcome Home!!Unfortunately, I did not get deported and got through customs.
Plane landed so early, they had to drop us off on the tarmac.
I feel like a lot of mamas get kind of undervalued or forgotten. There are SO many different kinds of mamas, and I have been lucky to have a lot of women in my life who have nurtured me in some way and played a mother-type role. I don't want to forget anyone....they are ALL moms!!You phrased this so beautifully that I basically copied and pasted to my FB!
My flight was scheduled to land at 3:40. I landed at 2:45. Got home at 5:30 after the terrible Silver Line, Amtrak and an Uber lol (well, I use Lyft but it's just easier to say Uber). I'm thinking about using the Blue Line to get to the airport next time but even that requires a bus.Welcome Home!!![]()

I mean, for a major city with a subway system, there should be a real subway connection to the airport.
My friend is 100° tomorrow, and 102° on Wednesday. No thank you.Gettin’ toasty, and it’s predicted we’ll get into our beloved triple digits tomorrow…!!!!!![]()

I work in Back Bay until Friday but my new job hasn't given me the go ahead to get an ID badge soSilver Line is usually pretty good; but when I take public transit, I prefer the Blue Line to Airport Station -- and then connect to the frequent (free) MASSPORT buses, which stop directly at all the Airline Terminals at Logan.
But if you still commute (from RI) out of South Station, the Silver Line /Amtrak seems a better option for you. That said, ANY of the transit/bus lines can go down/or have delays occasionally. Best to allow extra time for possible delays. (It's kind of like WDW rides in that sense . . .)
NOTE: if you work in the Back Bay area and can commute from there --
Logan Express is a good option from Back Bay, (or Braintree, Danvers, Framingham or Woburn, at $18.00 r-trip), if you're near any of those cities. (I "think" you work in Back Bay, but not sure.) It's direct to all airline terminals at Logan. Round trip from Back Bay to Logan is only $6.00 (or you can buy a 1-way for $3.00). See link below for the 2 stops in Back Bay. Keep in mind traffic delays, no matter what option you choose.
